Dr. Phillips and Dr. Lambert will hold their annual pumpkin decorating contest this month.

“It is time to gather your markers, glitter, wool, felt , cotton balls, pipe cleaners , paint, etc. and use your imagination to create the cutest, scariest, wackiest, wickedest, funniest pumpkin,” they said in a press release.

The doctors’ offices will provide the pumpkins that may be decorated in any fashion except for carving. Supplies are limited and pumpkins must be reserved by Tuesday, Oct. 8.

Patients and siblings may pick a pumpkin from their pumpkin patch at 379 Danbury Road in Wilton on Oct. 11, between 2 and 4:45.

Decorated pumpkins may be returned to the Wilton office on Oct. 25, where there will be a Halloween celebration with pumpkins on view. Prizes will be awarded for the three best entries.

Decorated pumpkins will be shared with local assisted-living facilities, as well as several children’s organizations.
