Psychiatrist talks on caring and caregiving
“Dr. Alan Siegal is that rare speaker who can discuss serious topics with depth and humor,” says Lois Alcosser, a correspondent for The Bulletin who covers senior topics. “As a geriatric psychiatrist, associate clinical professor of psychiatry at Yale and past president of the American Association of Geriatric Psychiatry, he is consulted by the caregivers of aging parents and family members who anticipate the need for future caregiving.”
Dr. Siegal will explore Balancing Your Life: Caring and Caregiving, on Wednesday, Nov. 13, at The Greens at Cannondale. This is a subject filled with questions and challenges. After Dr. Siegal’s presentation, he will answer questions about any aspect of caring and caregiving.
The presentation is one of a series of free educational seminars at The Greens to serve the community. Seating is limited. Reserve as soon as possible. Dinner will be served at 6, with the presentation at 6:45. RSVP: 203-761-1191.
