The glassy surface of Horseshoe Pond reflects the scene of a warm, quiet summer afternoon. The Town of Wilton purchased the pond in 1986. Horseshoe Pond is named after the road surrounding it — Horseshoe Road, a small loop road that resembles the shape of a horseshoe.
