NORWALK — A Norwalk man threatened to stab and kill his roommate after an argument over cleaning the apartment, police said.

Sgt. Sofia Gulino said officers responded to a Harbor Avenue home at 10:19 p.m. on Tuesday on reports of a domestic disturbance.

At the scene, the complainant told police an argument over who should clean the apartment led Oscar Balderramos-Torrez, 26, to grab a knife and threaten to kill them.

Gulino said a third party stepped in and stopped the argument before things escalated any further.

No one was injured during the incident, Gulino said.

Balderramos-Torrez was arrested and charged with second-degree threatening and disorderly conduct. He was held on $10,000 bond and given a court date of Sept. 16.
