Rental space at Old Town Hall may be one of Wilton’s best kept secrets.

The colonial structure, across from the Wilton Congregational Church, is a lovely building that most recognize — but few realize it can be rented for events, such as parties, receptions, weddings, showers, business meeting, classes and workshops. Rates are reasonable, and the Wilton Garden Club is offering a free hour of use to any rentals in November and December.

Nestled in a beautifully landscaped property, Old Town Hall, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, features an elegant and intimate setting. Historically appropriate décor is complemented by a full-service kitchen and two bathrooms. The space is heated and air-conditioned, fully handicapped accessible, and provides ample parking. The hall can accommodate up to 53 banquet style, 72 lecture style or 114 standing, with chairs and tables provided.

Wilton Garden Club President Nan Merolla said, “Old Town Hall is a charmer. This is such a unique structure to be available for rental, and the rates are very reasonable. I can’t think of a place in Wilton that offers the kind of elegant ambiance that can be found here. It is the kind of setting that can really make your event special.”

Since 1939, the Garden Club has  maintained and acted as rental agent for Old Town Hall. The Old Town Hall is  at 69 Ridgefield Road in Wilton.
