There is a new episode of the “Weir Farm Artist In-Residence Reflections: Creating During the Pandemic,” video series.

The episode premiered on Monday, Dec. 20, at 1 p.m., and is the twenty-eighth episode in the series.

The episode features the Weir Farm Art Alliance’s 1999 Artist-In-Residence alum Joan Fitzsimmons reflecting on her experience while in residence, and in the alliance’s Artist-In-Residence program, how the residency has influenced her work since her time at the Weir Farm National Historic Site, and how Fitzsimmons has responded to the current coronavirus pandemic.

The alliance also has a virtual exhibition that is titled: “Reflecting on the Pandemic.” The art exhibit features the artwork of 73 Artist-In-Residence Alumni of Weir Farm.
