The largest outdoor tag sale in Connecticut, Wilton’s Minks to Sinks, opens under the tents at the intersection of School Road and Route 7 on Saturday, Oct. 1. Shoppers will find more than 14,000 square feet of new and gently used merchandise, including household items, furniture, luggage, garden tools, kids toys, sports equipment, seasonal clothing and of course, minks and sinks, all at bargain prices.

“The proceeds from all Minks to Sinks sales go to support Family & Children’s Agency, the Norwalk-based nonprofit agency that provides critical social services to individuals and families in need in the surrounding communities. Not one of the over 200 volunteers who work tirelessly setting up, organizing and running the sale, gets paid. We volunteer because we believe in Minks to Sinks and Family & Children’s Agency,” said Ada Mayer, the 2016 Minks to Sinks chairperson.

Saturday hours are 9 to 5. The sale continues on Sunday, Oct. 2, from noon to 4, when everything is 50% off. Bag day, when shoppers can fill up a bag for $7, is Monday, Oct. 3, from 9 to noon. Admission is free.
