The Georgetown Lions Club will hold it's annual Turkey Shoot on Sundays, starting Oct. 28 through Nov. 18, from 1 to 3, at the Lions Park Baseball field, south of Caraluzzi's on Route 7. The cost is $5.

"Money raised will allow Lions to meet pressing needs in the Redding, Wilton and Weston communities," said Bob Clark, the club's project chairperson. "Lions' members thank everyone who participates to make this project successful. You are truly helping Lions make a difference in our community."

The Georgetown Lions meet on the second Wednesday of the month at Redding Road House and the fourth Wednesday of the month at Lombardi's in West Redding. The club is made up of men and women who identify needs within the community and work together to fulfill those needs.
