The disposition hearing of former seventh grade Middlebrook teacher Dr. Timothy "TJ" Leonard has, once again, been continued. Originally set for Oct. 20, then continued to Nov. 3, Leonard’s hearing is now scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 5, at Bridgeport’s GA 02 Courthouse at 172 Golden Hill St.
Leonard was charged with risk of injury to a child and fourth-degree sexual assault after being arrested the evening of Feb. 10, when Trumbull police found him with a 14-year-old boy in a Jeep Cherokee in a parking lot on Quarry Road.
Before being statutorily sealed in September, his court files listed not guilty pleas on charges of risk of injury to child, a class C felony; and fourth-degree sexual assault, a class A misdemeanor.
Leonard is represented by an attorney from Maya Murphy, P.C., which has an office in Westport.
