Knit and crochet at historical society

Those looking to learn to knit, crochet or refresh their skills may join Knitting with Marietta at the Wilton Historical Society. Meetings are scheduled for three Saturdays in a row: March 7, 14 and 21 from 2 to 3:30. All skill levels are welcome, and homemade cookies and cider will keep participants refreshed.
Ms. Douglas is a certified Craft Yarn Council instructor with “decades and decades” of experience, and a love of sharing her knowledge.
Participants may start a project or bring a work in progress, but they should also bring:

  • For knitting — size 10 knitting needles and worsted weight yarn;

  • For crochet — size J crochet hook and worsted weight yarn.

Meetings are free for members, $10 for non-members of the historical society.
Enrollment is limited. Register by emailing education@wiltonhistorical.org or call 203-762-7257
The historical society is at 224 Danbury Road.
