Wilton Chief of Police Robert Crosby will address the Wilton Kiwanis Club at its regular weekly meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 7.
Crosby became acting chief on Jan. 7, 2015, taking over after former Chief Michael Lombardo left to head up the Trumbull police department. Crosby was sworn in as fulltime chief on Sept. 22, 2015.
He is a 33-year veteran of the Wilton Police Department, having been a patrol officer, youth officer, detective, sergeant, lieutenant, captain and deputy chief. He is in command of 44 sworn officers and four civilian employees whose mission is to serve and protect all citizens, and to maintain peace and preserve the quality of life here.
