Silas Witt gives his dad Taylor a lesson in Snap Circuits at Wilton Library’s second annual Innovation Day. More than 1,200 people visited the library on Oct. 22, almost double the attendance of a typical Saturday. There were makers of all kinds with more than 30 hands-on stations ranging from snap circuits to LED aprons, soldering to home plumbing repairs; decorating a recycle tree to adding to a community quilt. Ten presentations and workshops covered how to raise chickens, tend gardens, make wine and even learn how to taste wine. The day was made possible by sponsors Bruce Bennett Nissan, Catamount Wealth Management, and Ring’s End.
