Honey Hill Road, between Route 7 and Mather Street, will be closed from April 7, at noon, to April 16, at 4 p.m., according to police.
The road closure is necessary for railroad work being performed by Metro-North, which will consists of upgrading the at-grade crossing on the Danbury Branch line.
The upgrade includes replacement of the existing crossing surface. The detour will be implemented in fixed-message signs.
In addition, police said that there will be no train service Saturday, April 8 and Sunday, April 9, between Danbury and South Norwalk. Metro-North will provide bus service during those times. Train service is expected to resume on schedule Monday, April 10.
