Visitors to Ambler Farm’s Holiday Greens sale will have nearly 400 trees and more than 200 wreaths to choose from over the next two weekends. The sale begins Saturday, Dec. 3, and continues Sunday, Dec. 4, and the following weekend, Dec. 10-11.
Balsams from Nova Scotia and Fraser firs from North Carolina were delivered on Tuesday. Trees range in size from five to 14 feet, and wreaths measure 22 to 36 inches.
The farm is also also selling roping in 75-foot lengths and Ambler Farm merchandise, including its own maple syrup that comes in grade B and extra dark varieties. There will also be an Ambler Farm ornament for sale this year.
Santa will be on hand, and volunteers will be serving hot cocoa, cider and cookies.
“The sale is staffed entirely with volunteers and 100% of our proceeds go toward Ambler Farm,” said Debbie Corrigan, co-chair of the sale with Emily Humiston.
“We also provide trees to families served by Social Services and are collecting donations if visitors would like to contribute.”
Sale hours are 9 to 4 on Saturdays and 11 to 4 on Sundays. Information: amblerfarm.org.
