There will be lights. There will be cameras. And there will be Santa!

Santa comes to Wilton Friday, Dec. 7, for the Chamber of Commerce Holiday Stroll, and children may visit with him at the gazebo.

The festive evening begins at 5:30 with music by the Wilton High School Band to welcome the jolly old elf, who will make his entrance aboard a Wilton fire truck.

First Selectman Bill Brennan will flip the switch to light the holiday tree, at the same time lighting up the seasonally decorated lampposts.

Many shops and offices in Wilton will be open for shopping and socializing, many with refreshments, and families are invited to walk around the center and do some holiday shopping.

Wilton Library will also be open, with a fire crackling in the fireplace and refreshments on hand.
