For The Greens at Cannondale’s sixth educational seminar on Wednesday, April 8, Dr. Mary Guerrera will present “Exploring Complementary and Integrative Medicine,” explaining who marrying modern, Western-style medicine with ancient forms of health care can prove successful for many diverse symptoms.
Dr. Guerrera is professor and director of integrative medicine in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Her interactive talk will introduce new aspects of nutrition, the opportunity to personally experience mind-body/stress reduction skills and an acupuncture demonstration.
