HAN Network takes ‘Road less traveled’

HAN Radio and the Hersam Acorn Network will be returning to Two Roads Brewing to kick off the long Memorial Day weekend, Thursday, May 21.
The HAN Network team will have the popular Stratford-based brewery as a backdrop as our live shows cover it all — from food to fishing, news to sports and entertainment — and, of course, beer — in southwestern Connecticut
A full lineup of shows, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., will be streaming live at hanradio.com/live-stream/ and audio-only at HANRadio.com and Hersam Acorn’s local news sites, including WiltonBulletin.com.
At 11, the Coffee Break team, including John Kovach, Kate Czaplinski, Donald Eng and Rob Adams, will bring all the headlines, sports and more. Coffee Break will also welcome brewery staff for a behind-the-scenes look at Two Roads.
At noon, Patty Gay’s Stir Crazy food chat show will talk all things beer and cooking. The “Three Cheers for Beer” episode will include special guests like The Twins Judy & Joy and Chopped Champion Silvia Baldini of Strawberry and Sage in New Canaan.
At 1, HAN’s own Yankee Fisherman, John Kovach, will talk about salt water fishing with Jim Turecek, just as the season is heating up on Long Island Sound.
At 2, a special Thursday edition of Radio Arts & Leisure will air live with hosts Sally Sanders and Steve Coulter, talking about a new exhibit at Maritime Aquarium, etiquette with Catherine Michaels and some major movie releases.
Two Roads Brewing is at 1700 Stratford Avenue. The tasting room and beer garden are open for visitors, 21-plus, at noon.
Stop by, grab a beer and say hello to the HAN Network team on Thursday, May 21. If you can’t make it, watch it live at hanradio.com/live-stream/ or listen at HANRadio.com.
