Stella Crowther shows off the gingerbread house she created as part of a fund-raiser for Habitat for Humanity. This year, Wilton students involved in the program are raising money to build a fifth home in Bridgeport. To raise awareness, they created the gingerbread houses that are on display this week at the YMCA. They will sell the houses as centerpieces on Saturday, Dec. 17, outside Stop & Shop, which donated the powdered sugar and graham crackers. Any contributions will go toward the current project and help meet the State Farm Insurance Challenge to match funds up to $4,000. Anyone interested in joining the group may email margie.holcombe@gmail.com.
