Election Day child care for Y members

Busy parents and caregivers who do not want to bring their young children to potentially long lines on Election day may bring them to the Wilton Family Y on Danbury Road.

As part of the program Zoe for President: Kids Day Out; YMCA members may drop off their children, toddlers to 12 years old, at the Y’s Kid’s Club from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 4:30 to 8 p.m. There is a 90-minute time limit and parents are asked to pick up their children no later than 1 or 8. They must show an "I Voted" sticker when they return.

Zoe for President: Kids Day Out is a component of Zoe for President, the Y’s effort to elect a one-year-old girl as Commander in Chief — in 2064. It highlights the potential the Y sees in all kids to grow up and change the world if they’re nurtured properly and supported along the way.
