Connecticut’s Department of Energy and Environmental Protection State Parks Centennial Celebration includes a full weekend celebration at Dinosaur State Park in Rocky Hill on Aug. 17 and 18.
In honor of the centennial, the 17th annual celebration of the discovery of 2,000 early Jurassic dinosaur footprints will be celebrated by Friends of Dinosaur State Park and Arboretum with special activities from 10 to 3. For the first time ever, Dinosaur State Park Day will take place for two days. Admission to the park and museum will be free both days. For more information, visit dinosaurstatepark.org.
