PRESTONSBURG, Ky. (AP) — Businesses in several Kentucky counties have a few more weeks to apply for loans to help with losses from severe storms and flooding earlier this year.

Low-interest disaster loans are available in Breathitt, Floyd, Johnson, Knott, Lawrence, Magoffin, Martin, Morgan and Wolfe counties in eastern Kentucky, the U.S Small Business Administration said in a news release.

Small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives, small businesses engaged in aquaculture and private nonprofit organizations affected by severe storms and flooding from Feb. 6 through March 10 are eligible to apply. The deadline is Jan. 3, 2020.
