The winner of a coloring contest will be awarded a prize toy truck and free admission to Touch A Truck on Saturday, Sept. 8, at Middlebrook Middle School, 131 School Road.

Touch A Truck takes place from 11 to 2, and will feature pony rides, a petting zoo, the "Roaming Railroad," popcorn, face painting, a bake sale, pizza, Mr. Bungles, the Wilton Steel Band, and lots of trucks. Visitors will be able to sit in, climb on and explore many types of trucks and other types of vehicles.

Admission is $25 per family and will take place rain or shine. There will be a silent hour from 11 to noon for children with special needs.

The coloring contest is open only to children ages 3 to 6. They may color the picture using crayons, magic markers or colored pencils. Pictures will be judged on creativity. Use a little imagination, but most of all, have fun!

Entries must be dropped off at The Toy Chest, 21 River Road, Wilton, CT 06897, no later than noon on Friday, Aug. 31. Remember to include name, address, phone number and age.

The winner will receive a prize toy truck donated by Wilton Toy Chest and free admission to Touch-A-Truck. A photo of the winner will run in The Wilton Bulletin on Thursday, Sept. 6.

The coloring contest is presented by Children's Day School of Wilton and The Wilton Bulletin.
