Wilton Congregational Church will show the award-winning documentary, Chasing Ice, Saturday, Oct. 19. This is the story of one man’s mission to change the tide of history.

Using time-lapse cameras, environmental photographer James Balog gathered undeniable evidence of climate change. His hauntingly beautiful videos compress years into seconds and capture ancient mountains of ice in motion as they disappear at a startling rate.

The evening will begin with a light supper in Pilgrim Hall on Ridgefield Road at 6. The screening will begin at 6:45 and there will be time for discussion at 8. There is a suggested donation of $7 per person, $15 per family.
