The Wilton Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) group is accepting new members for the 2013 growing season. The season starts June 5, and runs for 24 weeks. Members can purchase a share of the farm’s produce, which is paid upfront, and in return receive freshly picked organic produce on a weekly basis.

The cost of an organic vegetable share is $507 for the season. Fruit, mushroom and coffee shares are also available.

The produce is delivered to a pickup point in Wilton each Wednesday throughout the season. Pickup hours are 4:15 to 6:30. Because the CSA is a volunteer-run organization, volunteers are required to help man the distribution site for one and one-half hours two times during the season.

Spring vegetables typically include bok choy, spinach, sugar snap peas, lettuces and escarole. Each week is different depending on the harvest.

More information can be obtained on the farm’s website, Stoneledgefarmny.org.
