Wilton resident Kim Granite spotted this bobcat on Dudley Road around 3:50 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 4. Granite said she had never seen a bobcat before and was “shocked” to see one out in the daylight. According to wildlifeofct.com, bobcats — the only known wildcat to be living in Connecticut — are “mostly nocturnal in the warm season,” but are “active both in the day and the night” during the winter.
