Boathouse Bash benefits nursing agency patients
Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Fairfield County is planning a Boathouse Bash benefit on Sunday, April 26, from 4 until 6, at The Boathouse at the Saugatuck Rowing Club in Westport. The event will raise funds to benefit the nonprofit agency’s patients in need and will feature cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, a swinging performance by jazz musician Chris Coogan, a silent auction, a giving tree and all with a striking view of the Saugatuck River.
The auction offerings include tickets to the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, U.S. Open tickets and lunch with sports personality Chris “Mad Dog” Russo, tickets to a Yankees-Red Sox game, a sail on the Spirit of America, a trip to Santa Fe, tickets to the Rachael Ray Show, and more.
The Bauer Foundation is the title sponsor and other event sponsors to date include Day Pitney LLP, Liz Fox, Louise B. Goodridge, Gregory and Adams, P.C., Hoyt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Sara and Dave Hunt, and Ellen and Scott Lewis.
