Cannon Grange’s program theme for 2014-15 is ‘Enjoying Nature’s Bounty.’ An interactive program called ‘Winemaking: the tools and the techniques’ was held Oct. 2 at Grange Hall. Leading the presentation was Grange member, John Kriz —  sommelier and wine enthusiast. Attendees were introduced to the various techniques of making wine, mead and cider from grapes and other fruits. Mr. Kriz shared recipes and catalogs of supplies. His display included equipment he uses for fermenting, decanting, bottling, sealing and labeling.
