A one-car accident on Monday, Sept. 9, near Heibeck’s Stand in Georgetown sent four pedestrians to the hospital.

Around 4:30 p.m., Konrad Dziemian, 18, of Stamford, lost control of his car, a 2013 Honda Civic, on Route 7, and struck an unoccupied parked car before continuing south, colliding with a business sign. The car then came to rest on a small garden.

When the parked car, a 2011 Toyota Sienna, was struck, it spun nearly 180 degrees, and caused multiple pieces of outdoor furniture to be flung in the direction of several pedestrians.

Four people were taken by Georgetown EMS and Ridgefield EMS to Norwalk Hospital.

Mr. Dziemian claimed to have no recollection of the accident when questioned by officers. The incident is still under investigation. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Wilton police at 203-834-6258.
