Foodies and connoisseurs rejoice! Taste of Wilton is back this year on Monday, June 9, and will be filled with fine food and drink. The Chamber of Commerce event is an opportunity for restaurants, specialty food makers, and mixologists to gather in one place and show off their best for a large swath of the Wilton Community. This year the Chamber expects over 350 guests \u2014 so space is limited and pre-purchasing tickets is suggested. Each ticket costs $30, and may be bought at the Chamber office in downtown Wilton. Participants include: \u2022 Marly\u2019s Bistro \u2022 Luca Ristorante \u2022 Cactus Rose \u2022 Bianco Rosso \u2022 Portofino \u2022 Village Market \u2022 Ancona\u2019s Wines & Liquors \u2022 Bistro 7 \u2022 Fleur de Lis Academy \u2022 Little Pub Wilton \u2022 Vintage Fine Wines \u2022 The Painted Cookie \u2022 Stop & Shop \u2022 Sweet Sabrina\u2019s Cake Shop \u2022 Black Cat Grille \u2022 Georgetown Package Store \u2022 Sweet Pierre\u2019s \u2022 Wilton Pizza \u2022 Pinocchio Pizza The event, which is run annually by the Chamber of Commerce, is sponsored by Fairfield County Bank. Of the event, Fairfield County Bank Vice President Carol Johnson said her company is \u201cvery proud to be supporting this year\u2019s Taste of Wilton, a premier occasion that brings together more than 300 attendees.\u201d Ms. Johnson also said this year\u2019s location is a positive change \u2014 as it brings the event directly to the center of the community. \u201cWith the location this year being in the heart of Wilton Center around the gazebo, the Taste will draw an even larger audience of families seeking to sample delectable local cuisine,\u201d she said. Taste of Wilton is on Monday from 5:30 to 8:30 in Wilton Center around the town gazebo, and will feature 95.9 The Fox Classic Rock Radio.
