More than 40 children converged on Trackside Saturday, April 12, for the Wilton Republican Town Committee\u2019s annual Easter Egg Hunt. They dyed eggs and played games before hunting for eggs and prizes. \u201cWilton Republicans are very excited to bring smiles to faces of the children of all ages,\u201d said Al Alper, committee chairman. \u201cSupporting Trackside this year was a perfect complement because, like us, they believe in setting an example of individual responsibility\u00a0 and personal charity by \u2018practicing what we preach.\u2019 \u201cA special thank you to Lori Bufano and Frank Oliveri whose leadership made the event such a huge success,\u201d he added. \u201cThere is no better \u2018thank you\u2019 than the smiles on the faces of all of the children who participated.\u201d Ms. Bufano said. In addition to the egg hunt, the Wilton RTC participates in a variety of outreach programs it calls \u2018Our Principles in Action:\u2019 the Townwide Community Clean-Up, food pantry drives and tuition sponsorship.
