Wilton artist Renee Santhouse will talk about her work at the free Artists’ Walk and Talk, Friday, April 17, at the Hygienic Art Galleries, 79 Bank Street, New London. The event is from 6 to 7:30 p.m. This is the last week of the fourth Annual Connecticut Printmakers Invitational in New London; the exhibition closes Saturday, April 18 at 6.
At the show, art enthusiasts will have the opportunity to experience different printmaking techniques from etching to lithography. Participating artists include Jo Yarrington (Chiné Colle, Polaroid Transfer and Transfer Print), Shirley Bernstein (Color Woodcuts, Skyscapes), Yelizaveta Masalimova (Monoprints and Intaglio), Renee Santhouse (Monotypes and monoprints with digital archival pigment printing), Alexia Lalande (Woodcuts) and Natasha Feliciano (Etching).
