The 2014 Wilton Go Green Festival on May 4 will take place on the Wilton Town Green and at Wilton Library from 11 to 4.

Here are some of the events going on that day:

8:30 a.m.: Woodcock Nature Center “Where the Wild Things Run” 5K race/walk and kids’ fun run.
11 to 2: City Carting shredding truck in the post office parking lot.
11 to 11:30: Music by Peter McDowell, north parking lot stage.
11:30 to 12: Westport Electric Car Club rally, west parking lot.
11:30 to 12: Opening remarks and check presentation to Norwalk River Valley Trail, front of the library.
12 to 1: Music by Wilton Steel, north parking lot stage.
1 to 2: Atka the wolf.
2 to 3: Maypole dance, front lawn of Bank of America.
2 to 4: Music by Carter Vail, The Four, Grey Rocks, north parking lot stage.
3 to 4: Tree Steward Award presentation, Brubeck Courtyard at Wilton Library.
All day: Face painting.
