Taste of Wilton returns Monday

Foodies and connoisseurs rejoice! Taste of Wilton is back this year on Monday, June 9, and will be filled with fine food and drink.

The Chamber of Commerce event is an opportunity for restaurants, specialty food makers, and mixologists to gather in one place and show off their best for a large swath of the Wilton Community.

This year the Chamber expects over 350 guests — so space is limited and pre-purchasing tickets is suggested. Each ticket costs $30, and may be bought at the Chamber office in downtown Wilton.

Participants include:

• Marly’s Bistro

• Luca Ristorante

• Cactus Rose

• Bianco Rosso

• Portofino

• Village Market

• Ancona’s Wines & Liquors

• Bistro 7

• Fleur de Lis Academy

• Little Pub Wilton

• Vintage Fine Wines

• The Painted Cookie

• Stop & Shop

• Sweet Sabrina’s Cake Shop

• Black Cat Grille

• Georgetown Package Store

• Sweet Pierre’s

• Wilton Pizza

• Pinocchio Pizza

The event, which is run annually by the Chamber of Commerce, is sponsored by Fairfield County Bank.

Of the event, Fairfield County Bank Vice President Carol Johnson said her company is “very proud to be supporting this year’s Taste of Wilton, a premier occasion that brings together more than 300 attendees.”

Ms. Johnson also said this year’s location is a positive change — as it brings the event directly to the center of the community.

“With the location this year being in the heart of Wilton Center around the gazebo, the Taste will draw an even larger audience of families seeking to sample delectable local cuisine,” she said.

Taste of Wilton is on Monday from 5:30 to 8:30 in Wilton Center around the town gazebo, and will feature 95.9 The Fox Classic Rock Radio.
