Stay at Home celebrates 4th anniversary at Ambler Farm, May 2

Stay at Home in Wilton will celebrate its fourth anniversary on May 2 with a celebration at Ambler Farm.

Anyone interested in meeting the organization’s board, donors, members and volunteers may request an invitation by calling 203-423-3225.

Stay at Home has made a difference in the lives of many Wilton seniors, giving them that little bit of extra help — whether it be a ride to the doctor or store or assistance with a household task — to enable them to live independently at home. The organization also holds social events, giving members a chance to get out and enjoy one another’s company.

One example is a group of men who meet the second Tuesday of each month at 9 for breakfast at Orem’s Diner on Route 7. Any man who would like to join them may RSVP at 203-762-9303. The next two get-togethers are May 13 and June 10.
