Seminar explains legal needs for Alzheimer’s patients

Attorney Linda L. Eliovson, will present a seminar as part of a Caregiver Course for Family and Friends at ElderHouse Adult Day Center, 7 Lewis Street, Norwalk. Ms. Eliovson’s presentation will be on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013 at 6. The event is sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association.

She will discuss different planning issues and documents required for a good estate plan and for long-term care planning concerns. She will discuss advance directives, including living wills, powers-of-attorney, pre-designations of conservator and estate and trust planning documents, such as last wills and testaments and trust planning.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the multiple alternatives available and to present their generic questions for the group’s review.
