Schools Superintendent Gary Richards will address Kiwanis Club

Wilton Superintendent Gary Richards will offer “Reflections on My Years as a School Superintendent” Wednesday, May 7, at the weekly meeting of the Wilton Kiwanis Club.

Dr. Richards has served as Wilton’s superintendent of schools for 10 years and will retire July 1. He has been responsible for a school system that serves 4,200 students, with an annual budget of $78 million and 600 employees.

He was named Connecticut Superintendent of the Year for 2013.

The meeting begins at noon at WEPCO on New Canaan Road.
