Republican Town Committee's egg hunt draws dozens of families

More than 40 children converged on Trackside Saturday, April 12, for the Wilton Republican Town Committee’s annual Easter Egg Hunt. They dyed eggs and played games before hunting for eggs and prizes.

“Wilton Republicans are very excited to bring smiles to faces of the children of all ages,” said Al Alper, committee chairman. “Supporting Trackside this year was a perfect complement because, like us, they believe in setting an example of individual responsibility  and personal charity by ‘practicing what we preach.’

“A special thank you to Lori Bufano and Frank Oliveri whose leadership made the event such a huge success,” he added.

“There is no better ‘thank you’ than the smiles on the faces of all of the children who participated.” Ms. Bufano said.

In addition to the egg hunt, the Wilton RTC participates in a variety of outreach programs it calls ‘Our Principles in Action:’ the Townwide Community Clean-Up, food pantry drives and tuition sponsorship.
