The Kick for Nick Foundation’s annual round-robin fund-raising tournament will take place Monday, May 30, 11 a.m., at Kristine Lilly Field at Wilton High School.

The Kick for Nick Nick Madaras Memorial Day Challenge features the wilton Ancient Warriors, Soccer Extreme and Wilton Blue. Monetary contributions and donations of soccer balls will be accepted. There is a free raffle entry with ball donations. All proceeds go to the foundation which has distributed more than 45,000 soccer balls to children all over the world.

This year, the Challenge kicks off with a special event Saturday night, May 28,  at Tavern on 7 in Norwalk. There will be “food, drink, prizes, auctions, and a general celebration of life,” according to a press release.

Guest bartenders from the Wilton Ancient Warriors and Wilton Blue will dispense drinks and raffle and auction off prizes including sport memorabilia, professional match tickets, and more.

Raffle ticket sales, bar tips, proceeds from donated beer kegs, and individual contributions will go directly to the Kick for Nick foundation.
