The annual Holiday Stroll will be held on Friday, Dec. 7, beginning at 4 p.m. on the Town Green in Wilton Center.

The Wilton Chamber of Commerce, Wilton Kiwanis, and town of Wilton have planned an expanded schedule of events to celebrate Hanukkah, Christmas, and the arrival of winter. Residents, family, and friends are invited to participate in the festivities.

There will be a menorah-lighting on the Town Green at 4 p.m. and a tree lighting at 5, after which children can visit Santa at the gazebo to share their holiday wishes and receive a special treat. Attendees can also head over to Schenck’s Island for a marshmallow roast from 5 to 8.

Children of all ages can also participate in holiday crafts and activities on the Town Green featuring free nut-free cookie painting with The Painted Cookie. There will also be festive music provided by the Wilton High School band and local holiday carolers.

Wilton Library will also be welcoming visitors with refreshments by the warmth of the fireplace, and its Holiday Book Sale and Art Exhibition will be open for holiday gift shopping.

Attendees can also take a stroll through town and visit, shop, and enjoy the hospitality of retailers, restaurants, and local businesses.

The Holiday Stroll is an outdoor event. In the event of rain, Santa will be at the Wilton Library from 5 to 7 p.m.
