Dr. Mickey Harpaz, author of Fifty Shades of Menopause, will visit the Wilton Family YMCA branch to sign copies of his book and give a free talk on Tuesday, Jan. 26. The book signing will start at 6 p.m., with the talk at 6:30.

According to a press release, Harpaz will tell women how they can lessen the discomforts of menopause by learning to decrease hot flashes and their severity, stop and reverse menopausal weight gain, increase their energy levels and lower levels of fatigue, sleep better, stabilize their moods, reduce stress and depression levels, and improve libido.

Harpaz has been in private practice for 28 years, earning his advanced degrees in applied physiology and nutrition at Adelphi (MS) and Columbia (EdDC) universities.

The Wilton Y is at 404 Danbury Road. For information about the talk, email Mary Ann Genuario at magenuario@rivernbrookymca.org or call 203-762-8384 ext. 282.
