Festival remembers Timmer Wood

A music festival to honor the memory of Timmer Wood, a Wilton man killed by a drunk driver in 2008, will take place Saturday, Sept. 13, from 4 to 10, at O’Neill’s Irish Pub in South Norwalk.

The event will “celebrate his passion for music and love of life,” as well as to raise money for Tisch MS Society.

The festival will feature musical performances by the four-piece band Stoneman’s Cavalry, The Zuni Mountain Boys, a Brooklyn-based Americana duo, and the high-energy Sweet Beaver Soul Band playing hits from the 60s to the 90s, as well as pizza by the Pizza Truck Co., a live raffle and a cornhole tournament.
