As the regular season winds down, it's a mostly static week in the GameTimeCT Boys Lacrosse Top 10 Poll, with only a handful of significant swings even in points.

The only change in position is in the middle, where Fairfield Prep moved up to fifth over New Canaan after the Rams lost to No. 3 Wilton.

The top four remained the same: Darien unanimous at No. 1 after its split in big games against nationally ranked teams, Staples a solid No. 2, Wilton a little ahead of Ridgefield for third.

The big gap to fifth remained, and fifth-sixth remained a tight race even as the Jesuits hopped over New Canaan.

Again there was a gap to seventh, and for the second week in a row No. 7 Cheshire has but a one-point edge on No. 8 Greenwich. There's a bigger gap than last week to No. 9 Fairfield Ludlowe, which now clings to a one-point edge on No. 10 Hand.

The Tigers tightened their grip on that spot with a win over Weston, which remains tops among other teams receiving votes.

Several of these teams will finish their regular seasons in the week ahead. We're getting there.
