There was just one change in this week\u2019s GameTimeCT Top 10 poll as the regular season has hit the midway point. Bloomfield won 92-88 at Windsor to vault into the top 10 poll for the first time this season at No. 9. The last time the Warhawks were in the top was after winning the CIAC Division IV state championship over Granby last March. Windsor dropped from No. 3 to No. 5 this week. Windsor had won the earlier matchup against Bloomfield at the GHPA Classic in December. Notre Dame-West Haven and Danbury moved up to fill the void behind No. 1 East Catholic and No. 2 Northwest Catholic. No. 6 Kolbe Cathedral, No. 7 Wilbur Cross and No. 8 Notre Dame-Fairfield stayed put. Kolbe Cathedral and ND-Fairfield play their SWC matchup Tuesday at the Shehan Center. This Week: Tuesday at Bristol Central, 6:45 p.m.; Thursday vs. Glastonbury, 6:45 p.m. The Bottom Line: It\u2019s not the same Bristol Central team that defeated Northwest Catholic in both the CCC and CIAC Division II state championship games last season, but the Lions, who returned this season, likely have not forgotten those losses. 3. DANBURY 10-0 458 5 I Results: Defeated Staples 63-54; def. McMahon 70-45. This Week: Tuesday at St. Joseph, 7 p.m.; Saturday vs. Ridgefield at Western Connecticut State, 3 p.m. The Bottom Line: The Hatters outscored Staples 27-10 in the fourth quarter to win the FCIAC battle of unbeatens. 5.
