Luke Stennett, Portland: Shot a 1-under-par 34 at Portland GC in Portland’s 169-197 victory over Coventry.

Ben James, Hamden Hall: Shot a 2-under-par 34 at New Haven CC in the Hornets’ 202-230 win over Kingswood-Oxford. Also shot 37 at Birchwood CC in Hamden Hall’s 208-236 victory over Greens Farms.

Brandon Frye, St. Paul: Shot a 34 at Westwood GC to help St. Paul defeat Naugatuck 161-178.

Will Giaquinto, Notre Dame-West Haven: Shot an even-par 35 on the O’Sullivan Nine at Race Brook CC in Notre Dame’s 156-160 loss to Fairfield Prep.

Cam St. Pierre, Shelton: Also shot an even-par 35 on the O’Sullivan Nine at Race Brook CC in the Gaels’ 162-169 win over Notre Dame.

Charlie Larkins, Salisbury: Posted a 37 at Watertown GC in a prep school tri-meet split for Salisbury, defeating Hopkins and falling to Taft.

Luke Karpiej, Hale-Ray: Shot a 1-over-par 37 at Clinton CC in the Little Noises’ 179-196 loss to Morgan.

Matt Downes, St. Paul: His 1-under 35 at Western Hills GC helped St. Paul beat the Waterbury co-op team.

Matches to watch

Coginchaug vs. Cromwell at TPC River Highlands, Tuesday, 3 p.m.: Two of the Shoreline Conference’s top golfers should square off with Cromwell’s Jack Wise, co-medalist at last June’s Division III state championship meet, versus Coginchaug’s Colin Murphy.

Amity vs. Cheshire at The Farms CC, Thursday, 2:30 p.m.: Reigning Division I state champion Brett Chodos (Amity) and Anthony DePaolo of Cheshire should face off in the No. 1 singles match.
