Dave Stewart / Hearst Connecticut MediaGreenwich retained the No. 1 spot, while Darien leap-frogged to No. 2 over Cheshire, giving the FCIAC the top two teams in the third Connecticut high school girls volleyball coaches poll of the season.
The Cardinals (12-0) have held the top spot in every poll thus far, while Cheshire (13-0), which had been ranked second, fell one spot despite remaining unbeaten.
Greenwich and Darien will clash on Wednesday afternoon at Darien High.
Ludlowe, the third FCIAC team in the top 10, dropped one spot to No. 7, switching places with the CCC’s RHAM, which moved to No. 6.
Haddam-Killingworth, which has won its first 12 matches, entered the poll at No. 10, with Fitch dropping out.
