The Wood-n-Tap restaurants, with nine locations in Connecticut, are collecting donations for World Central Kitchen as the charitable organization continues to feed people impacted by the war in Ukraine.
Each of the restaurants collecting $1, $3 and $5 donations that will be forwarded to the organization founded and run by chef José Andrés. Andrés' team is feeding people in Ukraine and at a border crossing in southern Poland, according to the WCK website, and the organization has also expanded its efforts to serve people across the region in Romania, Moldova and Hungary.
