Sally's Apizza plans to close its New Haven location temporarily for maintenance starting Jan. 2, the restaurant announced this morning.

The restaurant will be open for regular business hours through Jan. 1. Its other two locations, in Stamford and Fairfield, will remain open.

Sally's did not note an official reopening date, but encouraged diners to follow its social media pages for updates.

The newest Sally's Apizza outpost opened Dec. 1 within the Trademark Fairfield apartment building, featuring dual spaces: a dedicated takeout delivery location and a separate elevated experience dine-in location. The full Sally's menu is available for takeout, in addition to a special "right up" menu of Italian favorites and sandwiches for people on the go.

Sally’s Apizza continues its ambitious expansion outside of New Haven, following Fairfield with plans for four more 2023 debuts around Connecticut and Massachusetts. The Wooster Street brand will open pizzerias in Wethersfield, Newington, Norwalk and Woburn, Mass., next year, and pizza fans around the country can have frozen pies shipped from Goldbelly for a taste of the Elm City.
