Following an incident in which an imposter posed as a water company employee,\u00a0Aquarion Water Company is reminding customers to take precautions before allowing anyone into their home or business for maintenance, especially when no appointment has been scheduled. Aquarion urges residents refuse any such person entry into their home without first seeing photo identification.\u201cAquarion Water Company employees follow strict protocols when entering customers\u2019 homes and businesses, which include showing the customer an Aquarion photo ID,\u201d said Charles V. Firlotte, Aquarion president and CEO. He added anyone with concerns is urged to call the customer service department.Aquarion Water Company employees and contractors must carry company-issued photo identification at all times and to present it upon request when entering a customer\u2019s home.
