Wilton dentist becomes a Dawson Scholar

Dr. James T. Aris, a Wilton-based dentist, recently completed seven core courses offered by the Dawson Academy, a leading international organization for post-graduate dental education.

As such, he is now a Scholar of The Dawson Academy. By achieving this rank, Dr. Aris is making a commitment to help his patients achieve long-term optimal oral health, a release from the academy.

The cornerstone of The Dawson Academy philosophy is a comprehensive understanding of how the TM joint, muscles, proprioceptive input, lower anterior teeth, upper anterior teeth, lower posterior teeth and upper posterior teeth are designed to function in harmony with one another.

A believer in life-long learning, Dr. Aris has made an extraordinary commitment to education, having completing over 1,000 hours of dental continuing education in the past.

“Preventative care is my first priority,” stresses Dr. Aris, “because, dental health is an integral part of a person’s overall health.”
