Westport's Whole Foods Market supports Wilton Go Green

Whole Foods Market in Westport will contribute 5% of every purchase on Tuesday, April 8, to support the programs and mission of Wilton Go Green.

Wilton Go Green promotes its mission of sustainable living through numerous projects: the annual Green Festival, the Green Speaker Series in collaboration with Wilton Library, and strategic initiatives in home energy efficiency, recycling, Realtor outreach, and faith community outreach.

“We encourage our community members to use this opportunity to stock up,” says Karen Stanley, president of Wilton Go Green. “Join us at Whole Foods Market: Westport, on April 8th.  We’re very grateful for Whole Foods Market’s support and to those who come out to take advantage of this opportunity to support Wilton Go Green.”

Five Percent Days are part of Whole Foods Market’s commitment to support environmental and educational causes in their community. Wilton Go Green board members will be on hand during the day to promote home energy efficiency, sustainable energy sources, and the upcoming Wilton Go Green Festival on May 4.
